Sokkyotã
Sokkyotã é uma série de apresentações articuladas por Thomas Rohrer com a colaboração de artistas convidados, trabalhando a improvisação livre a partir de encontros entre música, arte sonora, performance e artes do corpo.
Nessa edição, Leviatã recebe o músico Mauricio Takara, que abre o evento com um solo de bateria e, na sequência, o duo formado por Thomas Rohrer e Philip Somervell exploram relações entre instrumentos tradicionais e experimentais. Ao final, os artistas improvisam em trio.
Sokkyotã is a series of performances articulated by Thomas Rohrer with the collaboration of guest artists, working on free improvisation from the encounters among music, sound art, performance and body arts.
In this edition, Leviatã welcomes musician Mauricio Takara, who opens the event with a drum solo, followed by the performance of Thomas Rohrer with Philip Somervell, exploring the relations between traditional and experimental instruments. In the end, the artists improvise together.
